I had already predicted I would not be battling with the other drivers, so I took the race as an opportunity to improve my Rank of my BRM.

I managed to cut off 12 seconds(!) of my previous time and I am currently just less than half a second away from the benchmark.

I'd say it was a really succesful run.

Congrats Iestyn, Radek, and Chris!

That was fun. I'd have been tough if I could have driven all the laps like I drove lap 2,3, and 7.

That was excellent practice. I'm still not good at handling the torque in the BT24 and 49 at Nurburgring.

I apologize for hitting you Harald at the start. I think it was Harald after Iestyn telling me so. I thought I might have hit a BRM. I was feathering the throttle and hoping to brake a little early. Harald likely saw something that I couldn't see making him brake much earlier than I expected. I paid for the mistake though. By the time I made it out of Sudkehre I was in last place.

I was glad to finish without another reset after requiring two at the start.

It's a shame I started running out of fuel at the mini karussell on the final lap. I was hoping I might be able to pass Harald on the straight. I wasn't fast enough in practice to get an accurate fuel estimate.

Thanks guys. I appreciate you letting me race with you.

Big Grats ID ...RP & CG

Zitat:
Original von Rainer Alpen
Ladies and Gentlemen

oh, no Ladies here

Perhaps, I drove like a lady...the first time behind the Wheel

Qual:
I could feel I was tired & heavy eyes (F1 from early morning)...but my eyes were huge when I set a new PB in Brabham

Race:
Was a bit too much up & running in the race, especially up in ID really felt I had much more power in Brabham than your Cooper...but get too close before the bridge. Hit fence a little...unfortunately may have destroyed some of my suspension, I hit into the hole & flies up...
...in the tree DOH
Even more DOH, server is not Pro, I could have used S-R

Thanks to all of you here at EOLC...no matter, today I can laugh about it...( )

Grats an Podium ...starke Vorstellung

Gruß
Harry

Turn 1: LMAO

some are lucky that we don't do the racing commission anymore or else....

With my new racing Equipment I just tried to survive and stay out of trouble. I got a bit depressed at the beginning, running only 8:50's but the final two laps I sensed that I got a bit used to the new feeling and managed two times a 8:25
That made me happy and optimistic again.
(even got a bit too optimistic at one point )

grats podium
