As you can see he ruined the qualification of two regular drivers. He could be there because the server was not passworded. I suggest to password all challenge races.

np. in fact (if I remember correctly) I didn't want to run a lap but just practice breaking onto T3 and the park the car
erm.. park the car as I was unhappy with the setup and wanted to use the remainder of the time rather to brainstorm about some tweaks on the setup.
David, I see your concept about "open server" (i.e. more drivers literally finding their way to the races) but I think the world doesn't really run that way.. and it poses maybe more risk than gain.
I would agree with Gabor and rather revert to password locked server.
we can still be somewhat open to additional drivers in such a way as that people can ask for permission if they show up in the EOLC chatroom prior to the qualy.
btw. what do you think of automated reminder (newsletter) e-mails*) ?
a) our races are greater spaced apart than they used to be. so great that people apparently tend to forget about the races we could avoid that by sending reminders
b) we could "spam" registered users of old and who knows, maybe some will consider to show up for a race or two (a reminder e-mail provides a sense of being involved thus some might return. if only occasional)
*) ofc only 1 person COULD implement that.... *jump into cover*
