Claudio follows Carsi closely. Carsi then loses relative speed as he shifts up and Claudio swirves over to the left and colides with David.

Gabor Olah is overtaking Harald Podzielny on the right side. They approach Lesmos 1, a right hander. Gabor is in the dead angle of Harry. At the corner entrance Harry doesn't give him much room. One second before the crash Gabor hits the curbs. This small mistake pushes his car to the left and there is an unfortunate collision with Harry.

Harry's car bounces back from the rail and hits Konni's car. Race accident.

Three seconds after the crash became visible to Bastian, he is coasting at speed of about 95 km/h. He could have braked instead. In this case it's hard to prevent a crash with the car in front (Carsi) and behind (Olaf), because Olaf is in the mirror, approaching at high speed. I think the right choice is to brake for the car in front, if you can't evade him.

Olaf sees the traffic jam. He brakes well and keeps his car under control. Kelvin is in reversed position on the track against the rail. He steers full lock to the left to recover. By doing so, he moves sideways into traffic and collides with Olaf. There's no protest filed against this. It's important not to roll slowly to the center of the track in a traffic jam. Claudio is able to evade Kelvin, who stands still in the middle of the track.

The race result was warped. This is fixed for the drivers Kelvin Mace, Konni Koch, Harald Podzielny, and Bastian Grupp.

Because Fabian is not back before the next Challenge Cup race and can't work on analyses right now, I have added the analysis of the startcrash at Lesmos 1, protests 1885 to 1894. So the official result has changed today.

Das ging ja mal wieder voll nach hinten los Irgendwie passiert in Monza immer so ein Mist.Verschuldet oder unverschuldet.
Vor Lesmo 1 hätte ich einfach anders reagieren sollen aber in einem anderen Rennen hatte ich mal früher gebremst und da ging es trotzdem schief.Hier dachte ich das Gabor noch zurücksteckt...leider nicht.

Danach gefrustet und völlig die Konzentration weg Parabolica im Kies,später am Ausgang hängengeblieben und zum Schluss nochmal ein Rad abgefahren als Konni sich vor mir drehte.Da wars dann ganz vorbei.Eines meiner schlimmsten Rennen seid langem und ich war froh als es vorbei war.

Schade für die Gesamtwertung

Many thanks Fabian & David for analysing the race and especially the hodgepodge in Lesmo 1. Great work guys!
You also observed the contact between me & Olaf, which wasn’t protested. Feel really sorry for my lack of attention at that moment.
