Wichtig: 60fps - HowTo

Download Pribluda Write Memory Error FIX

Wichtiger Hinweis: Beide Fassungen von Pribluda 1.1.2.1. unterstützen KEIN d3dv1 mehr! Also: neue Rasterizer

a) Betriebssystem (aktuell?)
b) eventueller Antivirus- oder Firewallsoftware
c) CPU
d) Ram
e) Grafikkarte

There still seems to be an overview problem with the 60fps-Patch, so I'll try to destillate it here:

1. The Gem installation should be up to date!
Download GEM

2. The new rasterizers
The new rasterizers are absolutely recommended, for they not only fix performance issues but also freeze issues, e.g. when entering the pits. Pribluda is updated, so you won't need mirrored fonts.

Download the new rasterizers

3. Pribluda
Pribluda may demands your lust for frankensteining. Actually there's version 1.1.2.1, which doesn't need mirrored fonts and fully supports the V2-rasterizers.

Some users experience a "Write Memory Error". They may use this replacement-dll:

Download Pribluda Write Memory Error FIX

Important:Both versions of Pribluda 1.1.2.1. DON'T support d3dv1 anymore! So go for the new rasterizers

Another version for those, who still have problems in d3d-mode:

4. The 60fps-Patch
In case the patches are not delivered with the actual GEM, I'll place them here.

Important:

In GPL Version 1.2.0.2. choose 60fpsV2!
In GPL Version 1.3 (Support for long tracks etc...different cup of tea) choose 60fpsV2newmod!

Not upside down, by stars alignment or any other way! This one or no one!
Put the patches in .../GPLSecrets/GEM+/Options

5. Graphic Drivers
They should be up to date. Legends tell of folks with less problems afterwards.

Download Nvidia Drivers

Download ATI-Drivers

Finally
If you followed all this, it should work.
If not, please don't shout crap today isn't like the crap in the good old times, make some statements

about:

a) Operating System (up to date?)
b) eventual Antivirus or Firewallsoftware
c) CPU
d) Ram
e) Graphic Card

If you're unsure which componnents are hidden in your System you may have a closer look using this tool:

At Bernd Nowak's Blog there's an updated version of the GPLPS installer (currently 1.02 BETA). The 1.3 Patch, new Rasterizers, Pribluda, Track- and Carupdates are included. And as always: Don't forget to back up
