Hi All,
After a couple of years with the same setup, I've decided I'd like to change my field of view a little - problem is that when I change FOV in Gem, it has no effect in GPL.
I think I had this problem maybe 3 years ago but I've forgotten the solution - can anyone help ??
Thx,
Glenn.

Hello Glenn,
you could try FOVed:

I had to use it as GPLShift features in-sim FOV adjustment, but doesn't seem to like GEM+ in my case: It forces the default setting, overriding GEM+.
To anyone else reading this thread: Wide FOV is highly recommended.
Regards,
Carsten

Thanks Carsten,
I'm now in glorious W I D E screen view and feel more in control of the car but, as usual, lap times show no improvement
Thanks,
Glenn.

Hey Glenn,
the more you know, the faster you'll go.
If a wider view helps you to assess where your car is in relation to outer borders of the long stripe of asphalt, you'll be able to maximise track use, effectively straightening the turns more.
What definitely will improve slightly is the awareness of other cars surrounding you. I'm certain of that.
Regards,
Carsten
