Today, I saw a new picture, beating my so far favorite (both taken at Phuket)

(note the "1"-sign which says, 1000ft of runway are left)
The Ilyushin 86 is the russian 747, having 350 seats!
By the end of the runway is the beach, where the Tsunami rolled over Phuket

It appears that flying an Ilyushin is like driving the Cooper - you have to do it close to the edge to go fast
