Do you have faster shift times than about 0.220s? You can check this with GPL Replay Analyser.
GPL Replay Analyser -> Tools -> Gear Change Analyser
Select a lap and look at the (average) time spend in neutral.

I am a little in doubt here, that is...that is only if you use the program 'GPLShift' you should be concerned to cheat a little?
I don't use GPLShift, but change gears using buttons on the steering wheel.

Me too. We have normal shift times of about 0.2s. I checked this for both of us. FairShift is for people who have shift times of about 0.1s and want to increase them to about 0.2s.
