| Controls Calibration Issue | |
Hello together,
I have quite anoying issue with calibrating G25 in GPL. During calibration / assignment only axis recognised is for steering. Other than that pedals or any other buttons cannot be assigned. I have deleted Controls.cfg with a hope when I start again a new one will be created but I get the same issue. Needless to say, G25 work well in all other simulations but only in GPL not... 
Somethime for no reason it works well and some times GPL forget about my G25... Help!!

Maybe input driver or so ? in options ?

Hello Adnan,
please try the setting "Share_All_16_AXES = 1" in GPLShift.ini. (Only necessary if you have multiple controlles, though, says [URL=http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=5228&view=findpost&p=40462]Bob[/URL].)
In my case, the calibration screen in GPL has two pages, btw. The pedals are on the second page. But I think you are well aware of that already 
Also, not going to that second page would not stop GPL from making the pedals assignable.
About GPL forgetting one's wheel configuration: That happens to me when I start GPL while another window (the browser, for example) is active.

Also immer noch kein progress...
Ich habe kein GPL Shift.
Auch keinen anderen fenster waren auf wenn ich GPL gestartet habe.
Hattefresche installation gemacht. Ging wieder. GPL exitet, nochmal ueber GEM rein und gleiche problem wieder da.
Erste Screen is fuer Calibration und schon da klappt mit Pedalen calibrierung nicht. In zweiten Screen (button Assignments) ist dann nur lenkrad bewegung detekbar. Keine Pedale oder buttons moeglich.
System restore gemacht um neue instalation weg zu bekommen da es nicht daran liegt. Ich hatte Problem auch frueher aber nicht so schlim wie jetzt. In letzten zwei tagen bestimmt 6 Stunden fuer nichts verpulvert.... Villeicht ist es Zeit GPL tschuss zu sagen....

Macht kein sinn... Dachte das es logitech profiler ist.
habe ohne versucht und erstmal ging wieder. Einmal Raus aus dem GPL und wieder rein und shon wieder nur Lenkrad bewegung erkennbar... Aus irgendeinen grund ist es voll ab und zu situation (mit mehrmal zu...)

Hast du mehrere Eingabegeräte? Oder ist noch ein altes Wheel in Windows registriert?
Ich kann nur noch darlegen, warum ich auf GPLShift hinaus möchte... I don't really want to put too much of a point on it, but:
Share_All_16_AXES = 1
OPTIONS: 0 1
EFFECT:
1 = Share ALL GPL 16 AXES between 3-5 active Game Controllers, instead of only 2 (first & last)
e.g: St. Wheel(3) ext. Pedals(5) Shifter unit(2/0) or Joystick (2-4) used by FFShifter software
Es ist einen Versuch wert.
Ich persönlich hab das G25 nie ohne GPLShift und nie ohne Share_All_16_AXES=1 betrieben, kann also nicht garantieren, dass es das Problem löst. Aber der Beschreibung der Funktion zufolge ist es dafür gemacht, damit GPL alle Achsen erkennt.
Randbemerkung:
Den Logitech Profiler habe ich immer aus.

Habe es gemacht. GPL Shifter installiert, option fuer alle axen aktiviert. Es ist nur G25 an den PC. Schon wieder, voll unvorsehebar. Einmal gehts, dann mehrmal geht nicht ohne das ich die ursache erkennen kann. Es muss am bloeden Vista liegen.  So wie sich die Updates abholt es wird immer schwerer mit gpl...

Also, es gibt irgendwas was in meinen GPL nach Seitek Joystick schreit unt das selbst wenn 16 axis enabled in GPL Shift sind. Es sind keinen Programmen aktiv die den Seitek treiben wurden und auch ist es nicht sichtbar das Seitek angesclossen ist. Wenn ich den Seitek einstecke, sofort kann ich ohne probleme gas und bremse damit Kalibrieren und G25 pedalen nicht.
Einmal GPL Shift patchen. Es geht einmal Einmal raus und nochmal rein und shon wieder das selbe.
Ausderdem bekommt GPL immer oefters unresponsive und stecken. Also wirklich... Hilfe!

Hi Adnan,
There is only a tiny chance my suggestion will work, but I want to share it anyway.
GEM makes a new GPL every time you use GEM to start GPL. Maybe your devicedriver sees the last GPL that is made by GEM as a completely new (and unknown) exe. I write this because Logitech Profiler can handle different executables (games) differently.
You might try this:
- Start GEM to create a GPL 60fps executable.
- When you succeed to calibrate the wheel and pedals, don't change the GPL exe anymore.
- Next time you start GPL, do it directly (without using GEM, that is without creating a new GPL).
Maybe you already tried that. Because GPL recognizes your controls sometimes, I think there must be a solution.  BTW, I have a Logitech Formula Force EX.

Adnan,
from time to time I have similar problems.
My remedy is always the same: Reboot and sometimes I cycle the Power to my wheel (Logitech Momo) and recalibrate, until it works again.
It seems to happen when I change the screen resolution between two consecutive GPL sessions, but I am not sure about this.
Not very satisfying, but as long as it does not happen too often one can live with it, because once it works it will continue to work for the rest of the day...
Not too much of a help, but I wanted to let you know that you are not alone with shit like that...
