Nurburgring by Night (Nightmod transfer) 

hi guys!

because it's called Long Ring NIGHT I always wanted to drive with the right atmosphere, in other words: by night.

I never got it done but this year I finally did it.

It's just a conversion of "Nurbnite" known from Fast Tommi's "Nightmod".

The folder will be called "nurburg" like the original so that at the Long Ring Night both participants with the original version as well as the one's who decide to go with this night-version can drive without conflict.

The pack comes with a bit brighter concrete (also by Fast Tommi) but I also included the original, only slightly darker concrete.

Please read the "How to" first.

I think you just have to get a bit accustomed to it and then you're gonna be fine.

Else I think everything's quite visible (unless you're night-blind )

I suggest you raise a bit the gamma-correction on your monitor/graphic-card for the event. that should make it much easier.

anyway, think of the cool and fitting *atmosphere* when you will be sweeping through the turns in our Eagle (hehehe..) driving the GP at 2 a.m. ( )! priceless!

(just made me think of the Machwerk event..)

hallo driver, i just checked the date of the ringnacht - MIST/shit! at this evening/night i`ll be on tour with my wife. This is one of the few adventures, which is more tempting than driving GPL, espacilly the ringnacht with you!!

After difficult years without time perhaps i will be back in some races in 2015 again.

I wish you a good race at the ring and a good 2015 - with GPL

Hallo Manfred,

schade das es nicht klappt. Leider haben wir in GPL keinen Doppelsitzer, sonst hättest Du Deine Frau mitnehmen können

Aber schön das Du nächstes Jahr mitfährst

@Fabian: Ich hoffe dass es nur ein Vorschlag war mit dem Nightmod. Ich finde es sollte wie immer am "Tag" stattfinden. Ist echt schwierig zu fahren und es sollte eher locker werden und nicht anstrengend.

nein, nein. du hast das falsch verstanden.
Mit "meinem" "Grafikupdate" wird ausschliesslich dem Nürburgring ein Nacht-Gewand verliehen [habe es von Fast-Tommy's Nightmod übernommen]

Also für mich zur RingNACHT absolut passend.
Ja, etwas umgewöhnung nötig aber nach paar Runden fährt es sich ganz natürlich..

achja, was ich immerschon erwähnen wollte:
so schön wie einige Ring-updates ist es halt nicht mehr (habe gemerkt, dass es fliegende Bäume auf der Geraden gibt... ) - aber man kriegt halt dafür das Nacht-Feeling...

(first 5-6 may feel weird and you might be slower but after that you'll get used to it.
imho it's also better for the eyes. especially on a long ring night )
