Kraft and Theile are side by side in the Nouveau Monde Hairpin. GPL generates a small collision, but there is much room between the drivers.

Grupp approaches the Sanson hairpin (lefthander) driving on the right. He brakes for the turn and begins to steer to the left to make the turn. Hartmann is still behind him then. Hartmann is trying to overtake Grupp on the inside. They collide at the apex of the hairpin. I think Hartmann's attempt to overtake is too late. Grupp could not prevent the collision.

A duel between Theile and Kraft. Close racing. Theile overtakes Kraft. No contact.

Hartmann drives on the left in a fast righthander (Gresil). Grupp tries to pass him on the right, but he isn't able to force his car to the right far enough to pass Hartmann. Grupp collides with him. I think Grupp's car didn't behave as he expected. At that moment, Grupp could have lifted the trottle.
