Anmerkungen zur ersten Rennrunde / Remarks first lap:
0:51 Amit Leon vs Gerd Groll vs Michael Knauff
Coming out of the final turn, Amit steers his Lotus to the left, where Gerd already is. They collide. Michael, who tries to avoid the trouble by driving over the grass, is hit by the spinning Gerd.
Aus der letzten Kurve herausbeschleunigend steuert Amit seinen Lotus nach links, wo Gerd schon ist. Sie kollidieren. Michael, welcher die Probleme umgehen will, indem er über's Gras fährt, wird vom sich drehenden Gerd getroffen.

The following incidents which ocurred when Amit and Gerd had to reset are seen as race accidents.
Die folgenden Zwischenfälle, welche auftraten, als Amit und Gerd resetten mussten, werden als Rennunfälle angesehen.

Protest von Silvani Danilo (sinngemäße Übersetzung): ''Zwischenfall in Runde 4 mit Leitner, ich habe 4 Positionen verloren und beschädigte meinen Ferrari.''

Manfred spins in the uphill righthander (T5). This is quite common at the beginning of longer races at Mosport, because there usually is a lack of ground clearance when all the fuel is still in the fuel tank. It was probably the same cause in this case.
Danilo doesn't manage to find a way around the obstacle and hits Manfred.
Manfred dreht sich in der Bergauf-Rechts (Kurve 5). Dies kommt am Anfang längerer Rennen in Mosport ziemlich häufig vor, weil es normalerweise einen Mangel an Bodenfreiheit gibt, wenn der ganze Sprit noch im Tank ist. Es war in diesem Fall wahrscheinlich die selbe Ursache.
Danilo gelingt es nicht, einen Weg um das Hindernis herum zu finden und trifft Manfred.

Danilo tries to rejoin traffic in an unreasonable and dangerous manner. He can see the other drivers coming, but he doesn't wait. He begins to drive across the track and is hit by Olaf.
Danilo versucht, sich auf unvernünftige und gefährliche Art und Weise wieder in den Verkehr einzuordnen. Er kann die anderen Fahrer kommen sehen, aber er wartet nicht. Er beginnt, quer über die Strecke zu fahren und wird von Olaf getroffen.

May I suggest an alternative way to rejoin traffic? It's as fast as your way, but it's much safer.
This small guide can be of interest for everyone / Dieser kleine Ratgeber könnte für jeden von Interesse sein:
When the car has stopped on the grass, do the following:
1. shift to neutral
2. rev up, steer towards the direction you need (left or right)
3. shift to 1st gear
4. step on the brakes after you've done 90 degrees of the 180 degree spin
5. To accelerate on the grass, you have to avoid wheelspin. This means: Be gentle with the throttle and shift up to a higher gear.
6. When you finally reenter the track, try to stay close to the edge of the track. The most important thing is to be as far away from the racing line as possible.
7. As soon you are sure that there's no other driver alongside your car, you can use the racing line again.

Please try this method and practise how to turn your car around (offline, of course  ). Practise it on the grass and practise it on asphalt.
