I want to thank everyone who donated, helped and raced at EOLC in 2015 
EOLC didn't use a server park, so this wasn't the most expensive year for us. I hosted the races from my home, the raceserver costed "nothing". The costs of the website are still there. When you donate, this will cover the costs of the website.
The new season
I volunteer for the same tasks as in 2015: calendar, standings, hosting races, etc. I can't guarantee that every race will take place. But if I don't volunteer I think the EOLC will close down. If this league wasn't here, I would probably put some time in GeLi or another league. It's not only racing, I like the community too.
I would like
- 9 Challenge Cup races starting with Watkins Glen
- Fun Event at Solitude in September
- Lange Ringnacht in December
- no racing in July and August
What do you think? What are you wishes for 2016?
Questions
To make the calendar, I would like to know
- the racing dates of gplracer.eu
- the starting times (CET) of the F1 races. The dates are already known.
If you find this info, would you please post a link in this thread?
Is Solitude stable enough to do a few sprint races in one evening? I like this track and want to take the chance.

Thank you sooo much for all your time & effort spent!!! 
In deed, sadly, EOLC would probably be down if it were not for you.
I encourage everybody to offer David ANY help (hosting, taking care of data, forum/homepage stuff, etc. anything you feel you can do..)
despite the site has become very quiet, we
did have our races and our season. so that's really cool and encouraging. 
now to some of your raised questions:
- donation:
hmm... I think I forgot to donate this year..  will catch up. What do you suggest is a reasonable amount p.P.?
- Your 2016 proposal:
that sounds good. I second it. *raise hand*
- Solitude:
... imho is to a certain extend unstable for long races. For sprint races imho it is stable enough.
only objection: hard to overtake. Shouldn't it be a track which offers good overtake opportunities? anyway if you like Solitude I go with it.

We won't clash with gplracer. F1 China on April 17 2016 will finish before 19:30h CET, so we will not clash with that event either. F1 Sochi might become a nightrace, so I didn't use May 1 2016.
I think 17 December 2016 is the last suitable Saturday of the year for the Ringnacht 2016.
Donations
Thanks for donating, Fabian, whatever amount you'll choose. Because of very generous contributions EOLC could offer a racing season I'll remember for a long time. The Monza Weekend attracted 18 drivers, the Ringnacht even more.
BTW. GeLi has a race on 1 January. Have fun

Ferrari is more or less faster than Brabham everywhere. The margin is less on technical tracks like Monaco or Zandvoort, but on faster tracks the margin is quite big. Even in Silverstone Brabham has a little chance. I'd prefer the old chassis points.
I'd rather consider banning Lotus (and Eagle?) for top drivers.

Hi all,
the official donation information is still valid.
The cost of the Web Server is around 20€ per month. For 2015 we just are able to pay for the server (just recieved another donation via paypal).
But it is very tight and we have no money left.
We have a monthly "income" of 15 € on a regular basis. So we need 60 € in donation on top of that, but I think it is doable.
