... für die neuen Cups 2008 "Rookie-Cup" und "Mod-Cup" (66er Mod) Grafiken für die Ranglisten. Die Grafik muss dabei eine Größe von 250x60 Pixel haben und, wenn vorhanden, einen transparenten Hintergrund besitzen.
Einsendeschluss ist Sonntag, der 6. Januar.
Die Grafiken können entweder über den persönlichen Menüpunkt "Mein Webspace" direkt hier in diesen Thread verlinkt werden oder an christian.kolnhofer@eolc.de gesendet werden.
Wäre schön wenn wir viele Beiträge von Euch erhalten würden.

Hallo Oliver,
danke für deine Vorschläge. Wir Admin finden die Logos ein bischen zu wild, könnten etwas seriöser sein, so dass sie zu den anderen unter Ergebnisse->Archiv passen.
Mir selbst ist eine Idee für Mod66 gekommen.
Es gibt doch die Schilder für Route 66.
Beispiel:

Idee: statt US 'Mod', statt Kansas 'EOLC' und das ganze noch farblich schön gestalten.

Was it a little design contest for the new cups logos ? Too bad I missed it I would've found it fun to give it a shot but the deadline seems well past if I understand well...
Btw, any news on that, did you guys settled on something ?

Hallo,
war jetzt leider 1 Woche krank
Dachte mir schon daß diese Entwürfe nicht ganz passend sind.
Waren ja auch nur Entwürfe
Die Idee mit Route 66 hatte ich auch schon, wie gesagt war jetzt leider nicht fit.
Dachte schon, daß noch mehr Leute etwas dazu beitragen !!
Wie dem auch sei sobald es meine Zeit zuläßt werd ich mal deine Idee mit dem Route 66 Logo verfeinern.

No, the contest is still open ! Oliver was the only participant so far
And as GP-Cup is now renamed to Pro-Cup, we need another logo as we do not use the Grand-Prix logo.
The logos should not be too weird, they should fit to the other logos (see results->archive)

Here is my candidate for the Pro-Cup logo:

I did it in Inkscape (only used the Gimp to resize the exported bitmap picture).
I hope tho that the blue, green, and red forms are easily identifiable as cars, if you did not immediately seen them as cars (wondered what that was) then there may be a problem (it's not easy for me to imagine seeing it for the first time, because I already know these are cars). So please tell me if you think they're not easily identifiable as (F1) cars.

Here is an update, I added circles for the wheels so now the cars looks better, I also scaled down a little bit the ferrari that was a little bit too big. Now I'm more satisfied with the result:

And yes, in version 1 I didn't recognize the cars at first glance.

Hi Gerald,
thank you for those logos.
I took them, but I have an idea for a little improvement:
imho the black frame looks very hard in the result tables. i think the frame could be a little thinner, or if this is not possible not black, it looks very fat.
