Hallo EOLC friends !

Just a short note to let you know the 2008 GPL World Cup has been launched . We're looking forward to seeing a German participation in this international event !

And thats the reason Holland has no World Cup team

Was mir nicht gefällt, ist der Chassis Zwang. Das macht keinen Spass. Es soll ja wohl so ähnlich wie die A1GP Serie sein. Naja, die ist halt modern, das passt nicht zu GPL. Und dass Nationen gegeneinander kämpfen ist auch irgendwie komisch.

Aber ich wünsche allen Teilnehmern viel Spaß.

P.S. das ganze könnt ihr auch in der Team Challenge haben

1) niemand der an der WM teilnimmt verlässt die eolc

2) wo gibt es einen chassis zwang ?

3) es geht um die nationalmannschaft und um den ("End" )sieg

Yeah, sorry if this wasn't clear !

Clashes with current running leagues would just be silly, it was always the intention that it could be organised by the team captains what day & time the race could be held so that all the drivers would be able to participate

See you at Lange Ringnacht in the mean time!

wäre es nicht mal zeit sich ranzusetzen ?


die weltmeisterschaft ist keine liga

sondern es geht um eine WM.

gerade ist jemand 1 28 6 im brm gefahren. der WR liegt bei 28.1 ... ich schaffe ne 28.5 ...

und gerade hörte ich im chat, dass freddy eugster für die WM zurück zu gpl kommt. all die leute nah an den weltrekorden sind, viele wollen zurückkommen.

und bei team deutschland, mit reinhold auf platz 1 im monster, hat nichtmal bock mitzumachen.

irgendwie verstehe ich die gegenargumente nicht. welche sind das überhaupt ?

Ich sehe sowieso das größte Problem darin, alle 32 Mannschaften zu komplettieren.

Ansich eine schöne Sache, nur:
Was hat das ganze für einen Stellenwert?
Das ganze hat doch keinen offiziellen Status als WM so wie die DOM als deutsche Meisterschaft, oder? Also ist es im Grunde nichts anderes als eine weitere Liga.

We're confident we'll have at least 32 teams of 4 ready to go.. (Yes, 128 drivers!) races could start in mid january, races can be run at anytime so that all can run in the race..

22 nations have signed up, if i remember correctly, Japan is the only one to have pulled out as they couldn't get 4 drivers, which is a shame for Crying Freeman as he is one fast guy! New WatGlen WRs the other day!
